Last year, The Stand Comedy Club presented our first ever pantomime, Snow White 2.

It was a HUGE success with the North East Theatre Guide naming it the third best pantomime of 2018, ahead of shows with ticket prices and budgets many times higher.

So we're thrilled to announce that we’ll be back for Christmas 2019, when two pantomimes collide as we bring you CINDERELLA & THE BEANSTALK!

Because what’s better than one panto? Two pantos!

We'll STILL be affordable, we'll STILL be alternative, we’ll STILL bring modern messages and ideas and, most importantly, we'll STILL be hilarious for all of the family.

There'll also be more shows to fit you all in!

Last year, Hannah Walker enchanted us as Snow White, this year, she steps into the glass slippers of Cinderella and she meets Jack, a charming young oaf played by Hal Branson

Will they fall in love? Will he stop swapping cows for beans all the time? Join us to find out.

We also meet Andrew the Giant, played by Lee Kyle and the ugly sisters, Salt and Pepper, played by Sammy Dobson, who prove that true ugliness is on the inside as they try and ruin all of Cinderella’s dreams.

With more special guests to be announced, we can’t wait to see you as we make the most magical time of the year even more magical.

Tickets for the majority of our shows can be collected at the venue door upon entry however we would still advise arriving a little in advance of our door opening time. This allows you to join a queue as all venues are general admission and a mixture of seating and standing room. For Edinburgh Fringe dates during August, we advise you arrive at least 30 minutes before doors open for your selected shows to collect your festival tickets. This allows you to join a queue as all venues are general admission. All venues are seated apart from Stand 1 which is seating and standing room.

A concession rate ticket applies to 60+, Students, unemployed, benefit recipients with proof of ID upon collection.

Guaranteed refunds must be requested 24 hours before the doors opening time by contacting our box office on 0131 558 9005 during office hours or by emailing admin@thestand.co.uk. Refund requests after this stage are at the discretion of the company and promoters however we will always try to help our customers if we have the opportunity to sell the tickets on. Accepted refunds will be made for the ticket sale amount and will not include booking or postage fees unless there is company fault.

If a member of your party has access requirements as part of your booking, please contact our box office on 0131 558 9005 or email admin@thestand.co.uk. Carers go free in our venues, so best to make your booking with us by phone or in person. Please book in advance for these tickets as we have limited access bookings per venue and show due to listed buildings fire regulations.

Our box office team will always endeavour to be as helpful and understanding as possible. We hope you enjoy the show!
