Show Information

Take two top academics, some dangerous ideas, add one comedian and it’s the force of nature that is the Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas (CODI).

Hosted by comedian Susan Morrison, and now in its eleventh year, CODI is sixty minutes of rapid-fire research from some of the finest minds in the country.

Marginal gains for brighter brains!

Staying sharp is easy: just “do this one simple thing“! But what if there isn’t ‘one thing’ but dozens? Professor Alan Gow explores how that gives us hope for keeping sharp as we age.

Are people bad for you?

Are other people slowly killing you or are they the answer to a long, happy life? Dr Mhairi Bowe asks who do we love and hate, and why, and whose toothbrush are you happy to share…?
