Scotland’s First Minister chats to Graham Spiers about Scotland, politics, referenda, favourite books, and (maybe) Eighties pop music, as well as the challenges of leading the country through the pandemic.  References to the Prime Minister are possible! First elected to the Scottish Parliament in 1999, currently MSP for Glasgow Southside.  SNP Leader since 2014 and Scotland’s first female First Minister since November 2014.  Born in Irvine in 1970, a qualified solicitor and University of Glasgow graduate.  She has been described as the ‘most powerful and influential woman in the UK’.
