Have you ever bolted upright in bed at 3am because you have the desperate need to check how many Tesco club card points you’ve got?

Yeah? Then you’d probably like this show.

It’s about me.

Working class roots and a shiny collection of mental health problems, I’ve fallen through life like Alice down the rabbit hole with no plan, vocation or idea how it all happened, a drama degree under my belt and a mountain of ‘transferable skills’ which is a posh way of saying I couldn’t keep a job down until I was 30.

The show is going to be fun! It’s going to be a laugh!

PS it’s 35 club card points but I have recently transferred them to vouchers of which I have £29 - respectable if you ask me

This show is a debut solo show and is directed by Lee Kyle in support of promising comedy talent in the North East.

Lee is a stand up comedian and comedy director who has worked with comedians on a number of award winning, nominated and five star reviewed shows. Some praise for his direction is below:

Sammy Dobson:

“Lee has an incredible ability to find order, story and a bigger picture and help you find a route through and clarity in the noise. He’s incredibly supportive and funny to his bones. An absolute joy to work with.”

Elaine Robertson:

Lee is a fabulous director and encouraged me to tell stories I’ve wanted to tell but have previously been too nervous to try.

Neil Harris:
Lee watched me stumble through the worst preview imaginable — 30 minutes of silence — and, through a series of meetings, helped me craft a show I’m immensely proud of. A show built on my ideas, yet one I could never have created without him.
