Stand Comedy Club Fringe 2022 Showcase

An evening of comedy for local businesses, press & comedy fans alike. Stand favourites Susan Morrison & Jo Caulfield, both doing full runs themselves, are to host the 90-minute taster featuring Gareth Waugh, Paul Sinha & Seann Walsh.

After a tempestuous couple of years, The Stand - Edinburgh’s legendary full-time, year-round comedy club - are inviting you to their showcase of what’s in store for 2022 across Stand 1 at 5 York Place, Stand 2 at 16 N St Andrew St, & The Stand’s New Town Theatre.

When & Where: The showcase begins at 7pm in The Lower Hall of The Stand’s New Town Theatre, on Thursday August 4th 2022 and will last approximately 90 minutes, ending at 8.30pm.

Who: The night will be in two halves, hosted respectively by Jo Caulfield, whose show Here Comes Trouble is in Stand 1 throughout August, and Susan Morrison who brings us her solo show as well as presenting the returning Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas and the brand new Echo Salon. She is also one half of The Fannies Big Night Out with Jojo Sutherland.

Joining them to perform excerpts from their shows is an A-list line-up consisting of Stewart Lee, Paul Sinha, Seann Walsh, Jo Neary, Simon Munnery, Gareth Waugh, Kai Humphries, Ada Campe, Ryan Cullen, Gavin Webster, Flat and the Curves and more.
