NEWCASTLE | 13TH APRIL 2025 | DOORS 7.30PM SHOW 8.30PM | TICKETS £12/10 HERE

Si Beckwith (‘Razor sharp wit’ The Crack Magazine) brings his brand new show DEBT MIDLER to The Stand.

A show about debt, and absolutely, 100% NOT about Bette Midler.

Si had wracked up A LOT of debt throughout his life; he’s had debt companies chase him, CCJs, payment plans and was recklessly irresponsible with his finances. He loved a payday loan, and he loved a credit card with a stupidly high interest rate.

He managed to get it all paid off (look, we’ll deal with Student Loans later…) and then he did the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, so, he’s still there or thereabouts.

This is a comedy show about something we rarely talk about openly but most of us face.

A heart-on-sleeve honest, yet very funny show from a comic on the rise.

‘delivers warm laughter from some hot topics’ BBC

‘hilarious, thoughtful, contemporary and fearless’ The Culture Vulture

‘absurdly charming and funny’ NARC Magazine
