Show Racism the Red Card have teamed up with the Stand comedy club and some great local comedians to put on an evening of Stand up comedy here in the Heart of Newcastle. The charity which was established in Newcastle in January 1996, provides educational workshops, training sessions, multimedia packages, and a whole host of other resources, all with the purpose of tackling racism in society. Across Britain, Show Racism the Red Card delivers training to more than 50,000 individuals per year. All contributions and funds raised go towards the delivery of this powerful and important message.

Please join us in a night of comedy to celebrate their fantastic work

Make sure you book up early it’s going to be a canny night!

With Gavin Webster, Joby Mageean, Zoe, Neil Harris and Hosted by Matt Reed

Matt Reed: Brilliantly sharp with crowds of any type, he has a natural warmth and the ability to create rapport with all walks of life – people genuinely love him.

Zoe: “Expect the unexpected, as Zoe doesn’t hold back, but remains endearing throughout, even if sometimes she’s willing to be a bit of a terror.”

Neil Harris: “Neil allows his audience to take in elaborate anecdotes before making them crease with some cleverly delivered conclusions.”

Joby Mageean: “Enough charm and enthusiasm to power a small town.”

Gavin Webster: His material is bold and provocative yet delivered in a charming manner - which has brought him much praise and attention. A proper local hero.

This allows you to join a queue as all venues are general admission. All venues are seated apart from Stand 1 which is seating and standing room.

A concession rate ticket applies to 60+, Students, unemployed, benefit recipients with proof of ID upon collection.

Guaranteed refunds must be requested 24 hours before the doors opening time by contacting our box office on 0131 558 9005 during office hours or by emailing admin@thestand.co.uk.
